Agatsu Kettlebell Level 1 Workshop

Description

Learn how to properly incorporate Kettlebell training into your business with the Agatsu Kettlebell Instructor Certification (AKC). The AKC is the most comprehensive course covering basics and advanced exercises along with complimentary bodyweight and joint mobility exercises. You will learn how to safely take your training and your clients to the next level.

Certification Requirements:

  • To receive certification all participants will be required to write and achieve a passing grade on a written exam.
  • Certification candidates are required to demonstrate proper Kettlebell technique as well as the ability to teach these skills to others.
  • Throughout the course all participants will be graded on their ability to perform both of the above skills.
  • All participants will be required to pass a circuit test.
  • Within two years of passing your Agatsu Kettlebell Certification you must either attend and teach at a level one certification, conduct a seminar with Shawn Mozen or take your level 2 certification.
  • In order to assure quality coaches it is important that coaches stay in contact with us and that we are aware of their training and progress. There is only a charge for Level 2, all other means of keeping your certification active do not carry any fee. If you are not planning on teaching you can participate in the course and will receive a diploma of participation.

Ron Gonzales, AKC

Ron Gonzales is a senior instructor from Agatsu Inc., the company that introduced Kettlebells to Canada. As a former successful bodybuilding competitor, Ron’s diverse fitness background makes him one of the leading Kettlebell trainers in the country.

Shawn Mozen, RKC

Shawn has worked in the fitness industry for over 15 years and is the owner of Agatsu Inc. Shawn was the first Trainer to introduce Kettlebells to the Canadian public. Through his company he created the first Kettlebell Instructional DVD's, workbook, and instructor certification programs in Canada. Some of the top Trainers from the US and Canada have attended his certification program which is known as being one of the toughest and most complete programs available.
