FKCI - Fitness Boxing Level 1: Basic Instructor Workshop


Boxing is a competitive full contact sport, but, most people are attracted to boxing for its fitness benefits, learn self-defence and experience authentic boxing training without sparring. The cardiovascular, toning, conditioning and motor skill enhancements gained make fitness boxing a tremendous option to sport–competitive boxing. This program will promote self-confidence; teach basics in self-defence and help individuals strive to attain personal fitness goals.

Joanne O’Donnell is a Certified Personal Trainer, ISKA Associate Trainer for the Fitness Kickboxing Program, Vice President of Fitness Kickboxing Canada Inc. Ross O’Donnell, BA, I.S.K.A. Master, FIS, PTS, CPTN-CPT

Ross O’Donnell is President of Fitness Kickboxing Canada Inc. (FKCI) and oversees operation of the Fitness Kickboxing Certifications programs and continuing education workshops across Canada. He is an experienced international fitness and martial arts presenter, a fitness columnist with over 300 published articles, and the author of 15 instructor-training manuals and of the book The Ultimate Fitness Boxing & Kickboxing Workout. Ross is also a certified Boxing Coach and Competitive Club owner through the Canadian Amateur Boxing Association (CABA-Ontario), and a Black Belt Instructor/Certified Coach and Competitive Kickboxing Club owner through CASK.
