What benefits do I get from logging into the Members Portal?
As a current CPTN member (or CPTN certified trainer), logging into the Members Portal gives you exclusive access to:
- Discounted rates on courses, exams, workshops, online training, conferences, and partner services.
- The monthly CPTN News and Client Handouts archive – useful for continuing education and client resources.
- Personal trainer job listings from employers showing opportunities across Canada.
- Access to special member-only discounts (e.g. insurance, equipment, partner services) and potential business resources if you intend to start training clients or run a private training business.
This portal is your central hub to manage membership, access benefits, stay updated, and advance as a trainer or fitness professional.
Where can I find the membership expiration and certification renewal date?
Your expiration and renewal dates are listed on your Member Account page. Certified members have matching membership and certification renewal dates.
If you are unable to login, the e-mail notification will indicate your account expiration date.
Where do I find notification e-mails that were sent to me?
To avoid missing important notifications:
Check Your Spam/Junk Folder: Many legitimate e-mails are filtered by your e-mail service provider. Review these folders regularly so important messages don't remain unread.
Add Senders to Your Safe List: Add the sender's e-mail address to your whitelist or safe senders list. This ensures the future e-mails from that address is delivered to the Inbox.
Mark Messages as "Not Junk": If you find a valid e-mail in Spam/Junk, mark it as Not Spam/Junk. The message will be moved to the Inbox and the sender whitelisted.
Note: If notifications don't appear promptly, try using your e-mail program's send/receive function or refresh your Inbox to check for new messages.
