CPTN-CPMVS Pilates Preludes™ & Mat Classics (14 hours) – Module 2
Description
Introduce yourself to Pilates with a historical overview and movement principles. Learn about skeletal mapping, neutral spine, psoas engagement and hip/leg distinctions. Gain a repertoire of Pilates Preludes™ to prepare the body for the basic classical Pilates series safely. Experience a Pilates Preludes™ and classical mat class, and learn how to perform the individual exercises for your practice. Cueing will be taught to promote breathing, enhance the mind-body experience, and improve alignment among your clients.
Recommended Prerequisites:
- Functional Anatomy or equivalent
