CPTN-CPMVS Pilates Mat (Intermediate and Advanced) & Applications (14 hours) – Module 3

Description

Learn 35 intermediate and advanced mat exercises, including roll over, single straight leg stretch/scissors, double straight leg stretch, cris cross, swan dive, single leg kick, double leg kick, neck pull, jackknife, side kicks, teaser and seal. Learn the breakdown, movement sequencing and layering for intermediate and advanced sessions. Continue to deepen your knowledge of anatomy and joint actions relevant to the Pilates mat repertoire. You will learn the communication cues to teach private and small group mat sessions. Learn modifications, variations and progressions to customize each session for your clients.

Recommended Prerequisites:

  • Pilates Preludes™ and Mat Classics, or equivalent
